" This was excellent stay at sol bay.we have been to ibiza 3 times now and it was the best hotel. the night staff was great the stop all noise at night so it was execellent for us and the kids. this hotel is sutibale for familes.the day staff was brill they help us when we need it.It a clean hotel as the maid did a fine job the was there every day. thank you for a execellent stay. i do recomed this hotel!... "

" Ni aire acondicionado ni TV. Cambio de toallas si, pero de sabanas no. He pagado 90 euros diarios por unos servicios que no disponia mi habitación. No creo que vuelva.... "

" Staff at hotel were extremely unfriendly (except for the lady who worked during the day). Was treated as if i were a nuisance to them, hotel is very far from west end, about 45 mins walk. There is no bar facilities in the hotel, worst hotel i have stayed in in ibiza. When leaving the hotel i requested a taxi to the airport, i paid for the call to the taxi comnpany only to be told that they could not get me a taxi. An utter disgrace. ... "

" we have just returned from this hell hole it's vile unless you like broken furniture,not enough facilities for cooking,no cleaning done including no towels,no toilet roll and no clean sheets,dirty stained mattresses! an air condition unit that made a noise but did not condition the air !!! itchy covers on the couch but the most revolting bit about our apartment was the congealed blood splattered on the curtains!!!!! there not a bar in these apartments as stated oops there is but its not in use and full of old furniture so you cant get in and as for satelite tv, where? we were in sol bay 2(paid for sol bay 1) which is literally down the back street past the bins into an unlit entrance past the broken bottles then you have a view of the bins. we came home 1 week early after numerous complaints to staff all we got was "me no know" so dont waste your cash,from happy to be home,kat... "

" Myself, my partner and our five year old daughter stayed here for a week on the 21st July 2008 for 7 nights - Oh my god we thought we had walked into a Club 18-30 Apartment block!!!! It was full of young singles who hogged all the sunloungers around the pool with their towels whilst they slept off their hangovers in bed!!!! There is no snack bar which it states there is - there is a drinks machine in reception and reception also stock some chocolate and crisps on the desk!!!!! Nice snack bar!!!! The rooms are basic and we woke up one morning to find an army of ants had got in through a crack in the bathroom and were coming through the apartment looking for food. Our daughter slept in a drawer which pulled out from the sofa!!!! I wouldn't say it was the best apartment I've ever stayed in in fact I think Butlins would knock spots off Sol Bay!!! The noise coming from other rooms started at around 11.00 pm and went on until the early hours which at that point they all went out clubbing and thankfully it all went quiet................then we were woken up from 4.00 am onwards as all the young singles came back in dribs and drabs and the noise was unbelievable - running down the coridoors, banging on doors, fighting, shouting and at one point we thought someone was having their door kicked in!!!! They acted like animals and myself and my partner are only in our late 20s and we couldnt believe what these people were doing. There were also people being broken into who we actually spoke to so from that point on we carried our passports, tickets and money everywhere we went and when we were in the apartment we slept at night with a chair against the door in case someone tried to break in!!!!! Staff on reception did not speak much English and there was no security whatsoever to control the antics going on at night. I would not recommend anyone with children go here as its completely unsuitable - we are trying to get some money back as we are very unhappy with our holiday. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. Don't go there.... "

" staff very rude and totally unhelpful .food at any meal uneatable worst hotel i have ever stayed in felt sorry for families staying in hotel as many stag and hen weekends at hotel.would not recamend to anybody.... "

" this is the place that nightmare holidays come from!!!!!how does broken and dirty furniture sound,broken air con unit,5 days complaining still not fixed,view of the resturant bins + a large bucket of used chip fat,stained mattresses,stained setee/3rd bed(dont know what these stains were)no cleaning done no towels,toilet rolls replaced,no sky t.v,no bar on site as advertised,but to top it all curtains that have bloodstains the full length of them(major incident style)it's disgusting we left after 5 days as it was unbearable DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY we are still fighting for compensation 4 months on!!1... "

" Overall hotel was ok, there are no bars inside hotel or nowhere to get a snack in the hotel, as they have been shut down. Linen service was fair but not changed everyday. Not a hotel to take children, alot of noise thoughout the night and early hours of the morning. Other than that hotel was basic... "

" WE LAST WENT TO SOLBAY IN 2005 WE ARE SADDENED BY THE REVIEWS I HAVE READ TODAY, WE WENT 6 TIMES IN 5 YEARS AND IT WAS FANTASTIC BUT THE OWNERS SOLD IT THE YEAR AFTER WE LAST WENT AND IT AS GONE DOWN HILL WE ARE GLAD CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE MEANT WE COULD NOT GO SINCE 2005 AS IT WOULD UPSET US. THE FIRST TIME WE WENT WAS AS A BLIND TRIP WE DID NOT KNOW WHERE WE WAS STAYING TLL WE GOT THERE AND WENT TIME AND TIME AGAIN WHICH SHOWS HOW GOOD IT WAS... "

" This place is certainly nothing like the pictures shown on website, would not even house a stray animal in this dump. Arrived here at 3am on Sunday 1 August and was disgusted at what myself, mum and sister found. Reception staff were very unhelpful, rude and gave the impression they spoke no or very little english when suited them. Corridors leading to our room gave us an insight on what to expect when entering room. Carpets were badly stained with who knows what, ripped and broken chair on stair landing however the worst was to come when the door to our room was opened. Kitchen utenstils were rusted, dirty plates left lying on drying rack, rather disguting smell when opening cutlery drawer. Bathroom was the worst, faecal matter and vomit stains surrounded toilet, bath and wash hand basin. Immediately contacted our tour operator to demand a move as we had been misled by the images shown whilst booking our holiday. This appartment should be removed altogether from any website to book and like other reviews we have read should be demolished. Its a disgrace to Ibiza and has put us off ever going back to Island. ... "

" las instalaciones son muy normalitas. no recomiendo cocinar en las habitaciones ya que las cocinas dejan que desear. aconsejaria que el personal de limpieza se esmerara un poco mas, en general los apartamentos estan bastante sucios pero si tengo que decir que la gente de recepción, muy bien!perfecto trato, buena informacion, educacion... ... "
