My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and found it extremely comfortable and a lovely place to stay. We booked a double room and got a double and a single bed. The room was very clean and modern and was a lot nicer than some hotels we stay in in England. The staff were very helpful and friendly even when we arrived at 1:30am! - would recommend to anyone....

wir, meine frau, unser sohn und ich, verbrachten vom 30. august bis zum 11. september unseren urlaub im HOSTAL RESIDENCIA SA ROTA. bei unserer anreise am spaeten abend wurden wir sehr liebevoll vom chef des hauses und seiner mutter empfangen. unsere zimmer (ein einzel- und ein doppelzimmer) waren liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. die betten sind angenehm, das badezimmer funktional und angemessen. ein balkon zur verkehrsfreien strasse rundet das zimmer ab. satelittenfernsehen (ich brauche das zwar nicht, aber meine frau konnte sich sonntags die lindenstrasse anschauen (fuer diesen satz werde ich mit ihr aerger bekommen) ist in jedem zimmer vorhanden sowie ein selbstwaehltelefon. zwar ist ein telefon in der zeit der handytelefoniererei nicht mehr unbedingt wichtig, doch als zimmer-zu-zimmer telefon (unser sohn wohnte im dritten obergeschoss, wir im ersten) war es sehr praktisch.
das fruehstuecksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich und egal ob man um acht uhr oder um zehn ankam, es mangelte an nichts. das fruehstueck nimmt man auf einer belaubten terrasse ein und der chef des hauses laesst es sich nicht nehmen seine gaeste persoenlich mit kaffee (petroleum, diesel, kerosin) zu versorgen.
nicht selten blieben wir abend in der kombinierten rezeption/bar nach dem auswaertigen abendessen auf einen "ibiza libre", einen karl der dritte oder ein san miguel haengen und plauderten mit dem hotelier.
zusammenfassen kann ich sagen, dass das HOSTAL RESIDENCIA SA ROTA die ideale unterkunft fuer menschen ist, die eine funktionale unterkunft mit liebevoller betreuung suchen, die "kleinen" luxus zu schaetzen wissen und die eine familiaere umgebung mehr schaetzen als den pool gleich neben dem strand.
was noch fehlt (aber bestimmt noch realisierbar ist) ist das penthouse, die dachterrasse und die dachhbar. ...

I would like to say that if you are looking for a romantic break then I wud suggest this hotel. It is usually a family run hotel and spotless. In the morning they provided me continental breakfast which I enjoyed a lot. I went out to taste the food and found it flavoursome. Close to the hotel there is a pleasant place named Santa Eulalia. This hotel is situated in a lovely pleasure and also well connected tp the other tourist attractions. If we plan to revisit Ibiza then definitely I wud book room of this hotel. ...

i just came back from my holidays on ibiza, where i partly stayed at the sa rota hostal. the room was on the back-side, that wasn't so nice because of the "view" - it was the backside of another house. but because of that it was quiet. the satellite tv had 3 german programs ( rtl, sat1, pro7 ) and also 2 or 3 english channels, so that was faboulous! the cleaning service and towels could have been little bit better, the towels are not really usable for drying after shower -too soft- maybe because of wrong washing!? but is's not a big complaint. i have to say, that the service was extreme friendly and very helpful! antonio, the receptionist, tried to book a hotel for me by phone in palma for my following journey, as i wasn't able to talk spanish. i really appreciated that and at least, should i ever stay directly in sta. eulalia again, i will be back at the sa rota! muchas gracias antonio et hasta luego!...

The Hostel Sa Rota is simple, but if all you are looking for is a clean room in the center of town for a very good price this is the place to go and the people were extremly friendly. The beach is 4 blocks away and the bus station 1 block away.
There is no pool but the terace is very welcoming....

Never felt so unwelcome, they were rude and were not oraganised. they charged us again after already paying and demanded it or said they would kick us out!!!
People on the street could easily walk up the side stairs onto the 1st floor and night even when the bar was locked!
Wouldnt even recomend this to my worse enemy!!...
