" Kdo ma jen trochu zkusenosti s prumernym hotelem teto kategorie, at si San Remo/S´Estanyol nevybira! Ac ma hotel potencial nabidnout sluzby v ocekavane kvalite, vubec toho nevyuziva. Platit si zde all-inclusive s ocekavanim, ze si konecne vecer/v noci v klidu posedite v hotelovem baru (a treba i za nejake hudby nebo zabavneho programu), ani jednoho se nedockate. All-inclusive bar je ve strasnem bordelu, nepohodlny, spinavy s naprostym nedostakem kapacity pojmout takove mnozstvi hostu - nadavali vsichni - Cesi, Italove, Spanelaci, Anglani... Ocekaval jsem od hotelu pouze to, ze si vecer kecnu, budu si uzivat dobreho piti a zabavy (pres den jsme cestovali, tudiz jsme hotelove sluzba nepotrebovali), ale proste nic se nedelo. Vsude jinde v teto cenove kategorii dostanete urcitou kvalitu sluzby, ale zde nebylo ani misto kam si sednout (kdyz uz, muselo se davat pozor, jestli si nesedate na spinavou zidli apod.), neexistoval napojovy listek, nejake libive koktely - neexistovaly. Jestli si myslite, ze si vecer spolecensky uzijete, tak to ani nahodou! Doporucuji nebrat na sebe "hodobozove" saty, proc by take - do baru, ktery je spise podobny malemu mlicnaku u bazenu. Utrit polite, popelem z cigaret a od nejakeho dlabance podrobene zidle muzete i levnejsim odevem. Ani vecer se nedockate servirovani do skla, stale jen plastik. kelimky, navic jim cely tyden pobytu chybely v zasobe takove elementarni pitivo jako napr. cervene vino, nebo pomeranc. dzus, to jen potvrzuje, ze se tam deji veci, ktere jinde jen tak nezazijete ve sluzbach all-inclusive. Ale hotel ma jeste jeden bar, u vetsiho bazenu, blizko recepce, s vetsi kapacitou a by take mela probihat zabava (podle podia), jenze tam najdete pouze bar, na kterem si i jako all-inclusive musite natvrdo platit - no proc by to clovek delal, kdyz je v tom samem komplexu a zaplatil si za AI. Tento bar byl po celou dobu de facto nevyuzivan. Ibiza je nadherna, ale vyuzijte rozhodne jineho hotelu. Doporucuji obratit se na delegata, ktery na Ibize pri dane cestovce pusobi, ten by mohl kvalitni hotel doporucit dle toho, odkud plyne nejmene stiznosti na kvalitu sluzeb. S timto hotelem se silne cestovky nestrefily. Ibiza - klidne znovu, ale tento hotel NIKDY VICE!!!! Snazi se setrit a setri na hostech, a to opravdu hodne!!!... "

" We arrived in sanremo in september 08 a party of nine,after been transfered from another GPS group due to appalling conditions to face the same in this hotel,the food was rubbish cockroaches everywhere our rooms was barely cleaned including our beds was never changed.shower and jacuzzi was filthy so i have not got a clue where the other people stayed who have gave this hotel a good rating,we have been to ibiza for the last 12 years and always returned home happy,the owner of GPS hotels is lowering the standards of ibiza !!... " The san remo hotel was terrible. We stayed for a week peak time 2008. The hotel staff could not cope and neither could we. The rooms were filthy and smelt of rotten cabbage, the baths had scum round the side and was simply vile. I had the pasta one night and food posining the next morning. This was not a good place for a honeymoon, me and my husband will not be staying in San Remo ever again. ... "

" i went here in 1998 and again this year. the food was great and we had a great time. the hotel was the same but the island is now dirty. dealing on the streets etc.. this hotel though has a small ferry behind it which takes you to san antonio town. the rooms at the front are very noisy due to mopeds blowing their horns at stupid o clock. the euro has made it very expensive so take lots of money.. stuart rockett... " The hotel was not that bad as I read in the reviews. It was a cozy one at a reasonable price. The rooms of the hotel were clean and the staffs were friendly. They helped me a lot and showed the directions leading to bars and restaurants. I met three groups of youngsters that stayed at this hotel who made lot of noises at night. My room was dirt free and had an air condi TV phone contemporary furniture and a beautiful terrace. The swimming pool was well maintained and made separately for children and adults. The swimming was crowded so I preferred to enjoy bath in the sea. There was a bar and restaurant that served food with an average taste. The hotel was after had all the basic amenities. I would recommend this hotel. ... "

" Enjoyed a one week stay at The San Remo. View from the balcony was fantastic, hotel location was great and the staff were helpful. On the down side, the evening meal was not good. Breakfast was ok and lunch was fine as there was plenty salad, pasta and fruit. There was not much for the kids to do but there was lots of other entertainment close by.There is a ferry service which is just in front of the hotel and it is only 2.5€ to sail over to San Antonio town and enjoy a beer in Kilties Scots bar.... "

" El hotel fatal. Fuimos con todo incluido por problemas de la empresa que nos proporcionó el viaje, y mas que un favor, nos hicieron una faena. La comida malisima! y muy muy poca variedad, la mitad de las veces comimos/cenamos fuera. Los recepcionistas del hotel son unos incompetentes (menos las chicas del mediodia), cuando llegamos a la noche, tuvimos que esperar 15 minutos al recepcionista xq estaba en la terraza... en fin... los del bar rapidos pero muy sucios, no limpiaban nada mas que la barra (y ni eso). El unico empleado bueno del hotel era el hombre que organizaba el comedor. La limpieza de la habitacion muy justa. Si habia un papel ni lo tiraban, solo hacian las camas. Las habitaciones: 2 camas, sofa, tele y terraza. Le sobra una estrella a la habitacion. El agua de la ducha con muchos problemas ya que cada 10 segundos cambiaba de fria a caliente. En fin. No vayais!!!... "

" I should not even be home yet from this holiday but cost me another 340 Euro to get home early! I had been there 5 days and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I can only thank the young girl on reception for allowing me to use her computer to book my flight back home. Food - Shocking. Maid service were there but did nothing, but am not surprised as they were not getting paid. I heard the owner of G.P.S was in Prison. This was not the hotel I had booked and was down graded. I had stayed in San Antonio 8 weeks before for 2 weeks with my Husband, Daughter of 14 and her friend and had a fantastic time so believe me this is nothing to do with the resort! Cockroaches, damp bedding, rooms being broke into, I could go on but I hope this would be enough to deter people from having there holiday ruined. My hearts go out to people who are still stuck there now..... They were all complaining.... "

" We cannot believe the difference a year makes! We stayed in this hotel last year & could not fault the rooms, service etc although the breakfast was cold. We were there a couple of weeks ago and were disgusted with the attitude of the reception staff, the cleanliness or lack of. Air con was faulty, TV faulty, shower head had to be cleaned out 3 times in a week & there was no bath plug to use the jacuzzi bath.... NEVER AGAIN.... "

" El hotel deja muchas cosas por desear.lo que hace que este hotel sea bueno, es su situacion ,pero no por estar a pie de playa porque en la foto sale como que hay gente,cuando te tienes que ir andando un trozo pq lo que se ve, es como puerto y no hay mucha arena.El chico q organiza el comedor es la persona mas maja del hotel y del mundo mundial hace su trabajo bien hecho no como el resto que parece que no tienen sangre y encima no hablan bien el español,bueno y la chica mayor de recepcion tb se salva el resto los cambiaba.el desayuno bien,pero la comida no tenias muchas opciones solo entre 2 platos y como no te gustara no podias ir ni a quitarte el hambre en el snack-bar porque solo tienen sandwich de jamon y queso en envueltos de muchos dias y duros a y unas pastas tipicas para el té repugnantes y cocacolas y bebidas de maquinas, nada de hamburguesas,perritos,patatas fritas..eso es el todo incluido 14 € al dia por esa basura,de haberlo sabido me hubiera cojido pension completa y me hubiera ahorrado 10 € por dia porque en la pension completa no te entra la bebida.las habitaciones si ,recien reformadas y bastantes bien ,el servicio de limpieza fatal muchas veces subias de comer y no tienes la habitacion hecha hasta las 15 :30 o asi , que verguenza, tienes que bajar a recepcion a quejarte para que te la hagan primero. y por ultimo por la noche los giris ,ingleses, son unos maleducados y na mas que saben hacer ruido a las 4 de la madrugada o cuando se les antoje por los pasillos chillando ,gritando,borrachos perdios, que hijos de puta no tienen otro nombre en su pais no hacen eso, es para darles de ostias a esos hijos de puta que aparte de venir a joder la marrana y que les sale mas barato todo y el hotel esta para ellos,todo en ingles, comida rara para ellos, horarios de comidas que solo ellos estan como en casa y a los españoles que les jodan.la proxima vez no creo que valla y si voy es para cagarme en la puerta de cada uno a los giris, mientras duermen,estoy en españa y parece que estoy en el estranjero... " just came back from this awful hotel arrived on thursday night took us twenty minutes to find are room in the dark hotel like a maze staff so unhelpful.on the saturday we had 400 pounds stolen out of are bag in a near by cafe went to reception to report it only to be told they didnt know what to do and did not see a rep all the week we was there so couldnt report it.we went all inclusive food the same all week snacks available through the day consisted of a toasted sandwich and some stale coissants.there was no entertainment on all week at all so much for all inclusive the bar at night was full of young italian lads who were quite roudy no place for children any one who is going or thinking of going to this hotel do not plenty of better hotels near by.... " This holiday was Fantastic!!! I went with my friend Elise Du Boi & her parents....& i had the time of my life! I'd deffinately reccomend this Hotel! I had my worries after reading all the negative reviews before i went, but the bar staff are not rude! There is nothing wrong with the food! There are plenty of things to do! So i don't get what the problem is? I loved it! There's plenty of pasta, meat, & fish dishes. & the salad bar is big enough! I just really miss not being there right now! Met some great people, & had a laugh! In fact we didn't stop laughing! :D I deffinately wouldn't reccomend it for people with young children, as it's mainly for young adults-adults. But why would you bring children to a party island like Ibiza anyway? :s But Don't listen 2negative reviews! Just go!! I KNOW u'll have a great time!! X x X... "

" I contracted through an agency the services of the hotel San Remo in Ibiza during one week. Since one was making accompanying by more three persons (family) I asked that was done the reserve of two joined rooms. Which my fright when I reached the hotel and repair that the two rooms were very distant one of another (each one in the tip of an extensive corridor). I asked in the reception if one of the rooms could be altered in order that they were joined but, in spite of they had promised to do it in the second night, to the end of my stay nothing was even done. It is important to tell that was not for lack of available rooms (I saw that the next rooms were empty the next day) but for lack of will in serving the clients. After to rise to the rooms I came across problems the cards that were serving of key to the rooms: one was not opening the door and other was not allowing to light the light. I was two times to the reception and they told me that the cards were shut down. It will be that they had been forgotten? While entering in the room I wanted to tie the TV and repaired that it was not working. I went to the reception and it was told me that it was necessary to pay 10€ for having access to the command that was allowing to tie the TV (without command the TV not work). This situation is at least strange as soon as in the publicity booklet it is been said that the TV is included in the service. It seems that it is not true! In this first night I spoke to the reception to know if it was possible to exchange the rooms as I asked before. Then, the director of the hotel called me to his office and in a very aggressive tone he said that it was full of the problems that we were lifting and that the best was we changed of hotel (after receiving the payment !!!). I use this opportunity to say that in the bathroom of each room there was only one glass (for two persons) to what the director answered me that the hotel was lacking resources and that was not an aparthotel and yes in a hotel. Will it be that the clients of the hotels have no right to hygiene? It is important to tell that this man told not to realize my language (Portuguese), for what I have to speak in French to be understood in Spain. Since one is known, the Spanish is not so so different from the Portuguese, for what had to exist was a lack of will in realizing the claims. It is still important to note the extreme lack of education tells for part of this man who having an elevated post in the hotel should be more cordial and polite. At the level of a staff of the reception it is of detaching the worst service done to the clients, be for the lack of sympathy and education, be for the lack of formation for the post. At the level of the rooms they were little cleaning (powder, dirty towels and up to cockroaches!) and the furniture is lightly degraded. Besides, it was not given shampõ not even toilet soaps. As for the food, there was little variety, every day it was always the same food. Besides, they were fried only. In conclusion, I felt very much disappointed with the service of this hotel that did not have to pass of two stars. More than the lack of physical resources, the worst went to lack of education of a director and of the reception. They appeared completely disinterested of the well-being of the clients, treating them like numbers in the statistic of occupation of the hotel and not like persons. In eve of coming though I asked the book of claims in the hotel but it was told me that they had not and they gave me leaves photocopied in order to write. Besides, while I was writing the claim two receptionists were speaking with an Italian guest about the size of my claim and laughing. It is pity these persons do not have the sufficient intelligence to realize that even being a Portuguese I manage to understand Spanish and Italian and that I noticed the jocular tone used to describe my claim. I wope that this report of my experience serves to other people to think well before opting for this hotel to pass on holidays. If you want to avoid to be mistreated DOES NOT GO for this hotel. ... "

" El hotel es correcto para pasar unos días agradables en Ibiza. Las habitaciones son luminosas y cómodas, con cama, sofá, tele gratis y terraza. Puedes disfrutar de dos piscinas que nunca estaban llenas (en Julio) e incluso de un gimnasio. No está en el centro de San Antoni, pero se puede ir andando en 20 minutos tranquilos y bonitos por un paseo marítimo. También hay autobuses que funcionan bien con el centro del pueblo o con Ibiza (desde el centro del pueblo cada 15 minutos). Está pegado a una playa algo estrecha pero con espacio sufieciente y a 5 minutos otras algo mayores. Seguro que hay hoteles mejores, pero nosotros sogimos una buena oferta y la relación calidad precio fue correcta. Lo recomiendo si no quereis gastar mucho y al mismo tiempo ir a un hotel con garantías.... "

" I really wish I had believed the reviews I read prior booking this hotel. I honestly thought it can't be that bad!!!! We booked 5 days before we departed and it was not a cheap late deal. Believe all the poor reviews only think this hotel is suitable for the under 21 who would love the night life and enjoy the freedom of being away. I thought being on the opposite side of the night life would result in it being quieter, not the case!! We had to move room because of Italian lads in room next door drinking in rooms til midnight then going out and waking us at 6am when returning. WHY place a family with a 10 year old next to them in the 1st place, there was plenty of unoccupied rooms. Just believe the rudeness of staff, the mad rules of the hotel, all inclusive drinks only available at the far side of the hotel were the smell of the drains made you feel sick, stale ham and cheese sandwiches for your snacks, I am not objecting to plastic beakers but in half or pint sizes. Food was basic and it was totally unorganised in the dinning area, looking for free tables and everyone walking around standing in queues and you could not leave the room with all inclusive drinks. You have read all before, the hotel is in fantastic location and it just needs better management, they did fix things that were broke like our toilet seat and shower but why not look and fix before the customers get there. This hotel is totally miss-sold on the information given and I will be looking in to some compensation for the miserable time we had. Never again!!!!! ... "

" Just got back from my first holiday abroad, it was terrible. First, they wanted to give us an unsuitable room, then we got a nice room when they realised. This was the only good bit. Food is terrible, cakes for breakfast, and dire food for lunch and dinner, caked in oil and generally battered as well, if you can recognise it. The old Spanish people the hotel was filled with liked it, but none of the British. Set meal times and only peanuts or stale bread available between times, we lived of crisps bought from the local spar. Even though we were all inclusive. Bar only open from 12 'til 10pm, plastic cups. Then from 10 til 12 in the other part of the hotel, so it keeps you awake, playing only Spanish music, doesn't encourage you to join in. There are road works everywhere, real nice when your sunbathing and a big drill starts behind you, making loads of noise and covering you and everything else in dust. Unstable sun covers, we had to put it up our selves, no one helped and it fell over when we were at lunch. We then had to pick it back up and drag another concrete base to try to stabalise it. There is no evening entertainment apart from pool, and the white ball was lost for 2 of the 7 days. Early reception staff on day of leaving very unhelpful, arranged breakfast was eaten half in darkness and then we passed a dead cockroach on our way out. We were happy to leave. ... "

" i stayed at the san remo in ibiza, my first time on holiday with my boyfriend, which should have been a special time. this is the worst place i have ever stayed in my life, the hotel staff are extremley rude and abrupte and only seem to listen to you and smile at you when you say you have a complaint to make. i am a vegetarian and they do not cater for my food needs at this hotel although as advised by the restaurant manager he could give me some pasta with some sauce which i was told to heat in the microwave myself. i have eaten pasta the times in which we have dared to go to the restaurant and salad and to be honest cannot bare to even look at pasta anymore. even my boyfriend who eats meat says the food was crap, it was stale, cold. you were ok if all you wanted was meat, there was nothing to go with it, no veg, no potatoes, the chips look like some inexperienced chef had overcooked them, even the restaurant manager advised that this hotel only caters for their italian friends, so basically if your anything but italian i wouldnt be seen dead in this hotel or any hotel that that gps own. to say the least there are toilets just seconds away from the restaurant in which my boyfriend visited to find, at his disgust and absolute horror cockroaches, some were dead and some were running about just seconds from where people were eating. the san remo advertise there is entertainment at their hotels, i can assure you there is nothing, no tv, no music, nothing. if you are looking for some entertainment during your holiday you have to go across to cafe royale which is across the road which the same people who own the san remo own this place. surely if they own this place and this is where they provide the entertainment, then surely you can use your all inclusive band they give you at this cafe. no that would be too sensible that would, they send you across the street for your entertainment and you are ten euros per round for two drinks, therefore defeating the purpose of being all inclusive. we took one thousand pounds of spending money with us and every night my boyfriend and i have had to eat out because they do not cater for vegetarians, so therefore have spent any money which we brought with us to enjoy ourselves on food. i will be taking them for anything i can get as they have spoiled my only holiday this year, these people make me sick and on your head be it if yo ever stay at a gps hotel. dont say i havent warned you.... "

" A little effort could make this a decent place. The food was poor, there is little selection for children, and the virtual non existence of snacks in All Inclusive was shocking. Satellite tv consisted of a 20" tv on a table, and the satellite tv in rooms did not exist!! None of the "jacuzzi baths worked, the jacuzzi on the 4th floor was empty, and there was no entertainment at all for children. The description of this hotel is somewhat askew, which is a shame, as the location is good, right on the beach.... "

" The san remo is modern and very clean. The rooms are above its 3 star rating. Also the food on offer is of good quality . The pool is not the largest , but the beach is only a few metres away, the beach is spotless and the sea is warm and inviting . There are several bars in close proximity all of which we enjoyed.san antonio is a leisurely half hour walk away,there are plenty of cafes and restrants along the bay side and harbour. We usualy go to different destinations every year, not returning to previous resorts and hotels , but my partner and myself would definitely stay at the san remo again.... "

" had a very nice holiday, the hotel is very clean and rooms kept to a great standard. food good but as i was only there for a week i expect that after two weeks you would get a bit fed up with it as it becomes a lot the same. ideal as the beach is at the hotel. watersports are very good. No entertainment at night if that is what you are looking for. The only thing i could really fault about the hotel was that i felt like we were on an 18-30s holiday and we are in our 40s so not very suitable for families with children. I had thought that being in the bay of san antonio it would have been better for families but in this hotel it is not the case.... "

" Oh What a lovely hotel in this island. I especially like to thank the staff for making my holiday fantabulous. The hotel was well decorated interior. The room we have booked was also tidy. I have read a lot of reviews about this hotel but didnt know what they really didnt like. The food was also good and my friends enjoyed it. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. We spent a lot time at the pool after returning from a long tour exploring the island. There are clubs and bar at a walking distance from the hotel. The room that we stayed had comfortable and cozy beds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends for a holiday. ... "

" We stayed at san Remo hotel St Antonio bay Ibiza from the 18oct-1 nov 2008.This hotel didn't have basic hygene,bed linnen was not changed but top and tailed.Towels thrown into the bath ended up refolded and put back on the rails. The choice of food was extreemly limmited and mostly inedible. In the bar ALL drinks were served in plastic cups that were recycled on the last week,this caused many guests to be unwell.this Hotel should not even be a 1 star. ... "

" well i just want to say that, all these negetive reviews posted about this hotel are complete crap! we must have stayed in a differet hotel or something..because iv just got back from san remo hotel in ibiza and iv got to say it was one of the best holidays that i and my family have been on. i went with my parents and my friend for a week, the location is gorgeous, you get 2small pools and a private beach that looks out onto san antoni, theres loads of water sports out front that you can do, a small ferry that takes you across to the other islands which is really cheap, theres a strip out front of the hotel with bars,shops and places to eat. we spent most of our time at a bar down the road from the hotel called 'bucanero'. the all inclusive bar is great, yes you do need to drink out of plastic cups..but surely that is a health and saftey issue?! you can take as many drinks as you like, and the bar closes at 11.30 not 10.00! the staff..well we didnt have a problem with any of them..when are key didnt work one night the reception replaced it straight away within 5mins.and as for the food well..you got breakfast,lunch and dinner..plus snacks provided in the bar throughout the day! and its all nice with a big variety,there is nothing wrong within the cleanliness either, fresh towels etc.. everyday. all in all, the hoilday was fantastic! lovley and hot and the sun beds were free on the beach. i cant believe people are complaining about this hotel, id reccomend it to anyone and id go back! dont listen to the negetive. go and have a good time like i did! X... "

" Just returned from the san remo hotel wish i took heed of the reviews how true they were. The food was awful not a lot of choice. The only good thing about the hotel was the room with a sea view. There were clean towels everyday but that was all. no clean sheets and room was not cleaned for a week. Glasses provided were for paying guests and all inclusive customers had plastic cups day and night. I would not reccomened this hotel. ... "

" POSITIVE: Near to the sea, nice view (if you get sea-side room), average room equipment with bellow average services (cleaning). NEGATIVE: If you want to relax mainly by night using hotel services, DON´T GO!!! With all-inclusive program you will not get what you expect. Very surprising - dirty, completely substandard bar for all-inclusive visitors - OUT OF THE HOTEL PLACE WHERE SHOULD BE THE NIGHT PROGRAM, THERE YOU ALSO FIND THE BAR (with bigger capacity), BUT YOU MUST PAY THERE!!!! Bar for the all-inclusive is overloaded all the time. There are no drink menu, for all the time you get your drinks into the plastic crucibles. Impossible was the lack of orange juice of red wine for whole week of accomodation (it should belong to the basic offer of the bar). Good beer, OK, but most of the other drinks were worst. This hotel does not offer to its visitors any enjoyment. Average visitors must "fight" against dirt - you can see at first sight when you enter the reception hall (see the sofa pillows, dangerous to sit in the white clothing). There was no difference among all-inclusive and others. Every time of eating you are controled when entering the dining room (so you spend some time in the queue even if the hotel use various colors of wrist belts). Hotel has the potential to be better, but there must be some problems they (management) may solve some problems. The result is totaly bad services when people want to enjoy at least by night the hotel program and what they paid for. IBIZA is great! But this hotel is strongly away bellow average. THIS HOTEL NEVER AGAIN!!! ... "

" It was hotter than usual. That was nice. Apart from that..it was absolute S.... I cryed myself to sleep most nights, that could have been to do with the alcohol..but mainly the disgusting sight of the room! I was sick in my toilet and no-one cleaned till the end of my stay. Vulgar. Aswell as this i also caught crabs, possibly from the disgusting bed linen..i still cant rid of them. Everytime i think of San Remo i think of many weeks of itchyness and pain! Thankyou for reading. NEVER EVER look at the place..u may get crabs. ... "
