Tivoli and Jabeque videos

We have new videos for 2 apartments complexes from the Playa sol hotel chain.
The Tivoli apartments situated in the center of Playa den Bossa, 1 block away from the beach, 4 blocks away from the famous Bora Bora Beach bar and 5 blocks away from the Space disco.
Then we also have a new video for the Jabeque apartments witch is situated between Ibiza town and Playa Den Bossa, in a area called Es Vive.
This complex was part of the Sirenis hotel chain but like I mentioned before now they are part of the Grupo Playa Sol.
They are right on the sea and 100 % of the rooms have ocean view and are one of the few complexes that offers 2 bedroom apartments.
They are a bit more expensive but they are also far superior to other complexes of the Grupo playa Sol.
We are producing more videos and we will keep you informed as they come out.

New maps for Ibiza town and Playa den Bossa

The new generation of maps are already in all the pages of hotels, hostels and apartments in Ibiza town and Playa D'en Bossa.
For those of you how did not read our first blog about our new maps,
we use the same Google Maps as before but in the comment window of the hotel we have added a new feature.
This feature consists of a how to get here, with 3 links to the possible entry points to Ibiza, the airport, the harbour of Ibiza Town and the harbour of San Antonio.
If you click on any of the links you get a map with the best route to get to your accommodation, with the driving indications on the left hand side and the map on the right hand side.
You can also get the inverse directions or even change the starting and arrival point completely.

As you know were you are going now, the best way to go around the island is with a rented car, in our car rental section we have a total of 3 companies you can choose from.

New: Tur Palas Apartments

We have a new apartment complex in Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza.
It's called Tur Palas and it is situated in 1st beach line 1 block away from the popular Bora Bora beach bar and 3 blocks away from the most famous after hour disco in the world, Space.

The apartments have air-conditioning, terrace, kitchen, satellite TV, they also have a 24 hour reception witch is very use full if you have a late flight or want to party till late.

The Tur Palas apartments are owned by the largest hotel and apartment chain in Ibiza, the Grupo Playa Sol that mean time has about 60 accommodation possibilities in the island.
The in interior of the rooms have been decorated with the typical colours for this chain, yellow, blue and white.
The maximum capacity for these apartments is 4 people, 2 sleeping in 2 individual beds and 2 sleeping in sofa beds.

Playa den Bossa has new Speed bumps

The city council of Ibiza Town has installed speed bumps in the main street of Playa den Bossa( C/. Pedro Matutes Noguera).
Since certain areas of this road like in front of the bar ?La Griferia? have had 7 accidents in the last 3 years.
How ever the owner of the owner of the bar ?La Griferia? says that ?the speed bumps are too small for any body to bother to slow down, plus they are situated in a area were the cars are already driving at full speed, they should be some were, were the cars have not reached a high speed.

I?m personally in favour of any measures that make this road safer. All the clubbers run out of the discos and into the road with out looking and often completely drunk or on some kind of drug, to top it of many of the drivers are just as drunk.
Even the best driver has to drive pretty slow and be alert not to cause a accident.
They also propose to put steel post in the side of the road to protect pedestrians from drivers that lost the control of their cars. Witch I think is a great idea and should have been done a long time ago.

More disabled friendly hotels in Ibiza

We have just received 4 new hotels witch are disabled friendly. You will find these accommodations under our special category of hotels for handicapped.
In this page you will find detailed information of up to what point a certain accommodation has or has not adapted to the new law, witch says that for every 50 rooms in a hotel there must be 1 witch is disabled friendly, this law also goes into great detail of how wide the doors have to be, what do the bath rooms needs to make it accessible and so on.

The new hotels are Garbi in the area of Playa Den Bossa and completely renovated and upgraded to 4 stars this year. They have 7 rooms for disabled; witch is a record for Ibiza.

Hotel Victoria in the beach of Talamanca witch has strictly followed the law; even the beach has an easy access all the way till the water.

Fenicia Prestige in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza. Witch right know is the only 5 star accommodations prepared for wheel chairs. All the rooms witch have been finished this year have been adapted.

Finally but not least we have the rural hotel Casa Naya situated in the beautiful countryside of Santa Eulalia. Were handicapped can easily move all around the agroturismo, including pool, garden and restaurant.

Bon Sol and Squash Apartments

The Bon Sol and The Squash apartments are brother complexes.
They are both situated in the centre of the popular Playa den Bossa, Ibiza.
They are 3rd sea line but there is plenty of entertainment around the apartments and they are only 150 meters from the Bora Bora Beach bar and 250 meters from the Space disco. For those how have been before in the area, its right behind Bowling centre.

If you stay at one of the apartments you can use the installation of both complexes. They have extraordinary possibilities compared to other complexes in the area.
3 swimming pool, tennis courts, sauna, squash courts, 2 restaurants, Jacuzzi and supermarkets.

Malacosta apartment chain

The Malacosta apartments chain is a very recent incorporation to the ibiza-hotels.com web page.
It consists of the Mala Costa II situated in the area of Es Vive, this is the area right between Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa. We have made a video of these apartments, were you will see they are extremely new and decorated with a lot of taste compared to other accommodation in the area.

Avenida: also situated in Es Vive but these apartments have not been renovated; however they have told us that they are planning a renovation very soon.
This also makes them a lot cheaper than the Mala Costa II.

Finally but not least we have the Vistamar apartments, these are situated in the centre of Playa den Bossa, Ibiza. Right across the street from the Algarb hotel and about 400 meters from the Bora Bora Beach bar. The space disco is about 500 meters away.
Even if this accommodation is in second beach line it has a bit of seaview and thats why it's called Vistamar witch in Spanish means sea view.

Tivoli and Jabeque in ibiza

The Spanish reservation page for 2 more apartment complexes are done.
Both belong to the Grupo Playa Sol, for those of you how are knew to our blog this is the biggest hotel chain on the island with over 60 hotels and is growing quickly.
The Tivoli apartments are situated in the centre of Playa d'en Bossa but second line from the beach. This is a very popular accommodation between young clubbers, especially Italians.
It's about 400 meters form the Bora Bora Beach bar and 500 meters from the Space disco and surrounded by bars and all kinds of entertainment.

The Jabeque apartments are at the very begging of the beach of Playa Den Bossa, more towards Ibiza Town. These apartments are just on the sea but they are on the rocks and not on the beach.
The clientele here is mixed and it's popular between families.

Bossa mar and Lido in Ibiza

We have finished the Spanish reservation form for the Bossa Mar Apartments in Playa den bossa, Ibiza.
The Bossa Mar Apartments are part of the Jet Complex. Its the cheapest part of the complex making it very popular between young clubbers, the Jet is a bit more expensive and the most expensive is the Bali Beach.
Like we said in out last blog we recommend that you do your reservation well in advance for this accommodation.

We also finished the Spanish reservation page of the Lido Apartments, witch is a huge complex situated in the area of Figueretas in Ibiza Town. It's a very central location however its a bit run down compared with other parts of the town.

Club and hotel Don Toni are available

We have finished the web pages for the hotel and the Club Don Toni in Playa D'en Bossa, Ibiza, Spain.
Both are run by the Fiesta Hotel group and they are both 3 star accommotions. The main difference between a club and a hotel is that a club has more activities.
Both have a mixed clientele and enjoy a great location right on the beach, 4 Km away from the centre of Ibiza Town, 150 meters from the Space disco and about 200 meters away form the legendary Bora Bora Beach bar.

The guests can also enjoy the Club Fiesta Sport witch is one of the biggest hotel sport centres in Europe. The rooms have a terrace and at least a side sea view.
Of course on the beach you will find and almost endless number of activities.

Club and Hotel Don Toni soon available

We have just been informed by the Fiesta Hotel Group that they want us to add 2 new hotels to our website.
The Hotel Don Toni located in the Playa d'en Bossa beach, Ibiza, Spain and the club Don Toni that is situated in the same location.
The difference between all the clubs like the club Bahamas, club Palm Beach and the hotels is that a club has more activities and entertainment.
Both complexes have a little over 300 rooms, normally we have a problem to fill the demand of rooms in this area in the high season (July and August), with these 2 new hotels we hope can make many more happy customers.
The web pages are in full production and by the end of next week both of them should be done, however as soon as we have finished one of them we will let you know.

There are many new hotels to look forward to, we will add about 10 new hotels between know and the eastern week, when the season starts.

Algarb's new web page

The hotel Algarb in Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza, Spain has changed owner, from the Fiesta Hotel Group to the Grupo Playa Sol, as you might already know from a previous blog we did about this.
We used this chance to redo their web page completely, we are very proud of the result.
The web page has a small flash animation on the top of the site witch shows some of the pictures you can see with more time in the Photo page.
The site has been translated to Spanish, German and to Italian. The prices and availability for 2008 have been updated. The site also enjoys a very extensive client review section.

The down side is that the photos are still the same ones, which we think they will redo soon and the video option is not available any more.
