Ibiza luxury hotels

Todays blog is dedicated to the luxury hotels in Ibiza.
We will talk about how to spend the maximum amount of money in the least amount of time and what you get for that money.
The most expensive time of the year to come to Ibiza is in August and all the prices we are giving will be in august.
We will start with the Luxury 5 star hotel Fenicia Prestige in Santa Eulalia. If you were to stay one night by your self in august you would have to pay 953 Euros. For this price you get a Prestige suite with your own Jacuzzi with sea and river view, breakfast is also included. How ever its hard to get any other meal for under 50 Euros per person in one of the 5 luxurious restaurants located in the hotel.
There is no better way to digest your meal than to get a 40 minute 4 hand massage in their amazing spa for 90 Euros or a anti stress massage for 120 Euros.

This prices makes the new 5 star hotel, Ibiza Granhotel in the sport harbour of Botafoc look cheap were you can stay 2 persons in a suite with half board for miserable 787 Euros a night.

If you have the extra change visit our Ibiza luxury hotels page we you will find all the 4 and 5 star hotels in the island. Don't worry they?re not all as expensive as our 2 examples.

Accommodations with Wi-fi (wireless internet) in Ibiza

We have many clients in the last months that have asked us witch hotels have Wi-fi (wireless internet).
So we have created a new accommodation category with the hotels that have this technology in their establishments.
We found 20 of them witch in only a 12,5 % of our hotels, but not all of them have the same conditions, some have wi-fi in the entire hotel others have it in the reception and conference room but not in the rooms. Some only have it in 50% of the rooms.
Most of the accommodations don't charge their customers for this service but others like the Hotel Los Molinos in Figueretas charge their clients 12 Euros a day.
We have detailed information of up to what point each of them have embraced this relatively new technology for Ibiza.

We hope you find our new page useful and that more hotels are added to this category soon.

Minimum nights in hotels

Many people have tried to make a reservation for a hotels or apartments in July or August in Ibiza have run into this problem.
The reason for this minimum night stay is because people tend to stay just for the week end, filling the hotel and then the people who would stay for an entire week can not because the hotel is full for those 2 days in the week end.
This causes the hotel to lose a good customer and money.
As accommodation in teh short high season in Ibiza is so in demand, the hotelier tries to maximize his profits by having a minimum of nights.

On the other side of the story, the client, increasingly, he has to work more and his holidays get shorter.
In this short time he also wants to see as many places as possible, leaving often only 1 or 2 nights for Ibiza. So he runs into the problem of the minimum nights.

To solve this problem we have made list with all the accommodation possibilities that have no minimum nights in high season.

Hotel openings in the next few days

The Tourist season will start this weekend for most hotels in Ibiza and Formentera.

Some hotels prefer to wait 'till the May holidays, but almost all hotels are unsure about the beginning of the season and their main concern in not to lose money, before occupation optimizes in the month of June.
In fact some hotel chains will not open some of their hotels until the second and even the third week in May.

The vast majority of the hotels will open between the 27th of April and the 5th of May, but many predict a hard month of May caused by the low occupation in the first weeks.

The Hotel chain Grupo Playa Sol (12.000 pax) said that the vast majority of their 42 hotels and apartments (including Nautilus, Catalina and Monterrey) will open on the 1st of May.
Other hotels of the same chain will open next week.
Other hotels like the Luxmar, Costa Sur, San Remo, Marco Polo and Mare Nostrum have been open since February.

Fiesta and Sirenis will open most accommodations after the 2nd May.
Fiesta has already opened the Palladium Palace, Sirenis has opened the Club Goleta in Easter and will open the Tres Carabelas between the 1st and the 6th of May.

4 of the 5 hotels of Invisa ?Club Cala Blanca, Ereso, La Cala and Es Pla will be open beginning of May. Cala Verde will open some time in May.
