SAN ANTONIO is CHANGING:
San Antonio is cleaning up its act. The hoteliers have started to realize that they have to invest in improving their establishments, with things like air-conditioning, Jacuzzis, sports and equipment... The roads are being vastly improved, crowded city streets of honking traffic are being convertied into pedestrian zones, with plants and trees.

The West End
is also experiencing big changes. Many nice new bars and refurbished old ones. Pub crawls are out! Club 18-30 is (thank God) gone. More cops, and God help the stoned hooligan who decides to take a piss in public in front of a bar , club, or the public fountains..and the West End clientel is also changing.....
more internationalized....less Brit domination.

NEW-More frequent and economical flights to-from Ibiza!!
The low-cost airline company EasyJet announced yesterday that beginning MAY 28, they have scheduled TWO daily flights from and to LONDON-IBIZA. Easy Jet, the largest low-cost airline in Europe also announced an additional daily flight beginning on JUNE 3.
The London airport is GATWICK. Tickets for this flights are now available online at EasyJet.com.
This announcement is seen as a great help for Ibiza, which has always suffered because of flight shortages. It will be especially appreciated by international visitors to the island, as well as for all Ibiza travelers who desire the independance of online booking without the intervention or necessity to buy Tour Operator packages.

These flights start at 55.98 Euros (Round Trip) !

When fat people get organized........
ZAPATERO....Spain´s new president:

Confimed by the Spainsh Parlamentary voting yesterday,
José Luis Zapatero won the voting in the first round with 183 votes.....so Spain will be governed by the Socialist Party for the next 4 years.

'The Al Qaida connection..'

The arrests in the terrorist bombing attacks of the Atocha train station of Madrid has risen to 35 persons...almost all of them Morrocan Islamic fundamentalists, with Al Qaida connections.

Police authorities now figure that the self-immolation of 7 of the terrorists by detonation of theri own bombs in Leganés 10 days ago, pretty much
puts and end to the Madrid cell of Al Quiada.

 Awful WEATHER

On various occasions this week Ibiza has been incommunicate for Ferry and Ship traffic with the mainland due to high winds (up to 50 km. per hour) and waves of 2-3 meters.
However, today is beautiful and sunny and all the rain will make for a very green Ibiza during the next few months.
