Problems of Easter

Many hotels in Ibiza will not open their doors in Easter of this year.
The reason is that easter is very early this year, end of March. If a accommodation opens they have that one week were they will have a good occupancy but then they will have to wait till the beginning of May till the tourist season starts again almost with out customers and with the high costs of personal.
This idea has scared many hotels and apartments that prefer to wait till May to open their doors.
A few others have gone around this problem in what I consider the best solution, they open in easter and then close after it is over and re open on the first of May.

This was not a problem last year since La Semana Santa (Local name for easter) was April and the time the hotels had to stay open with out customers was much lower.
