Benirras, the 2nd best beach in Europe!
The prestigious English newspaper 'The Times' has published a list with the 20 best holiday beaches in Europe.
In this rating, the beach of Benirrās of Ibiza occupies the second position, only behind the coast of Tropea, in the Italian region of Calabria.
Mark Hodson, author of the listing, defines the beach as "the most far away place from the bars of San Antonio" and describes the beach as "a perfect portion of sand, fitted between rocks, in a calm bay". After affirming that "Benirrās, was sadly made famous by drug orgies in the 60's, ", now it has become "a mixture of young Spanish, Italian and Swedish people where the hippy spirit is still alive".
