S.O.S. Ibiza!

S.O.S Ibiza! They are RUINING IBIZA.

Ibiza is in the process of being covered by cement.

The cause is greed - unbridled, unsustainable real estate speculation.
Spain surpasses the combined construction of England, France, Belgium and Germany, and Ibiza leads the list.

The consequences are catastrophic.....The infrastructures are simply not here to support this unbridled speculation.
This results in ruptured sewer lines, electrical power failures, intolerable traffic jams, pollution on the level of noise, and air.

This is not the idyllic island you have been sold by the brochures.....although it still exists, it is dsappearing with awesome speed, as Ibiza sinks under the weight of
Marbella-like speculation, the smell of corruption begins to reach the outside world,
Over half the built housing is unlived in because is it in the hands of speculators.

Construction projects that are supposed to respect the beginning of the season with construction halts on noise polluting projects (jack hammers, high-speed drills,
excavators and steel cutting abrasive tools) go completely unchecked by the local governments.

What can you do?

Protest. Now.

Attend the S.O.S IBIZA FREE concerts by the Multi-cine (JUNE 16-17).....sign the petitions.. help us to stop the construction insanity.
