104.000 euros to restore Fincas in Ibiza and Formentera
The Consell destines 286,000 euros to the purchase of traffic signals for the highways of Ibiza and Formentera.
The Consell Executiu decided yesterday to grant 104,000 euros for several projects of restoration and rehabilitation of Fincas in Ibiza and Formentera. This year a total of 14 requests were presented, of which 10 have been accepted, they will have until end of October to finish the restoration. Four of the Fincas correspond to the municipality of Sant Jose; two to Sant Antoni, other two to Santa Eulària, one to Sant Joan and another one to Formentera, according to the spokesman, Joan Marí Tur.
Other agreements adopted by the Consell Executiu were:
- traffic Signals. - 286,000 euros were approved for the purchase of vertical signaling for the road network of Ibiza and Formentera.
- Aids for tourism promotion - Granted two aids for a total amount of 80,000 euros to support the expenses of its last promotional tours around Spain.
- Sports. - Approved an economic contribution of 27,000 euros to the Spoctur partnership for the personnel of the race course of Sant Rafel. Also approved, 348,000 euros for the sport in scholastic age in several modalities.
- Social welfare. - Aid of 204,000 euros for service of cleaning in the centers of this department of the Consell for the next year.
- Drug addicts. - Concession of 59,500 euros for activities to prevent drug addiction in Ibiza and Formentera.
- Scholarships - The Consell Executiu decided to grant a total of 54,000 euros for investigation in the matter of Historical heritage for this year and the next one.
