The Yacht Harbor of Santa Eulalia Hosts the XIV Annual Nautical Fair

The XIV edition of the Nautical Fair will take place in the Sport Port of Santa Eulalia, Ibiza from today till next monday with the presence of 21 exhibitors of different sectors related to the sea.

The Fair will open its doors from 11 AM till 8 PM, with exhibitors will offer all type of new and used boats, naval motors, trailers, spare parts, accessories and electronic devices, among others.
They will also they count on stand of the Spanish Red Cross, the State Society of Marine Rescue and the Special Marine Activities Group (GEAS) of the Guardia Civil.

The winners of the free drawing will be able to choose between selected products and services that are offered by participating companies.

This years version of the fair has been timed to coincide with the celebrations of the First Sunday in May of Santa Eulalia.

ISCOMAR Ferry Re-opens Formentera Route

The Iscomar ferrys will reopen the marine line between Ibiza and Formentera, this year from June to mid October, with the express boat ` Pitiusa Nova´ that was operating in 2005 between the 2nd of May and October in the same marine line.

The interruption, last year, of the shipping company Iscomar into the line between Ibiza and Formentera was not welcomed by competing companies, who registered their complaints to the Harbor Authority considering that they had granted discriminatory in favor of Iscomar, by not demanding the payment of harbor taxes.

The spokesman of Iscomar declared that this year they will apply the same policy with the
` Pitiusa Nova´, which can transport 36 cars and 302 passengers. The prices of this company are substantially less expensive than those of the rest of operators. Although the arrival of Iscomar was received with enthusiams by some politicians, in the interest of free market competition, later this opinion varied, due to them abandonment of this authorized line by the director of transports of the Govern Balear.

Now, Iscomar announces that it will take advantage of the high season to make this boat profitable, described as a high speed boat.

A group of about 20 fun-loving Americans, led by Pat Ryan, has organized a 'sport' trip to Europe which includes the World Cup in Germany....and for dessert...Ibiza!

They will hit the island on June 13, and will be staying at the FIESTA Club Playa D'en Bossa

"It's gonna' be a gas!..."declares Pat. "There's about 20 of us with identical ELVIS costumes...Cape included".

Why the Hotel Club Playa De'n Bossa?..."You kidding?..We heard that's where the most gorgeous girls are!...Besides, it's right across the street from the SPACE Discoteque and very close to the BORA-BORA Beach Club".

"You think they will give us a discount at the Discos if we show up in our Elvis outfits?" asked
one member of the group.

This reporters answer: "...If they are smart...they will let you all in FOR FREE!"
