Rural hotels in Ibiza request publicity support

The Association of Rural Tourism ( agro-tourism ) of Sant Joan petitioned the Consell for a permanent office in the airport.

The Association of Rural Tourism of Sant Joan has directed a letter to the conseller of Tourism of the Consell Insular, Jose Cardona Torres, to solicit aopen all year tourist information office in the airport of Ibiza, with the purpose of offering information throughout to the clients who arrive to the island during the winter season.

The spokesman considers that this would contribute to the tourist spreading the time periods of the tourist season.

The Conselor of Tourism, was comprehensive of the request of the association and indicated that his department is working on computers with tourist information by AENA in the airport. However, he assured: .."that the Consell does not have resources to maintain open the office all year".
