Ibiza : A study states a greater confidence of the pitiusos in the economy

The index of confidence of the citizens of Ibiza and the rest of Balears with respect to the economic situation has increased in all the islands that conform the archipelago from 2002, although the Majorcans and the pitiusos are those that showed a greater satisfaction of their expectations in 2005. According to a study made by the Gadeso consultant, an improvement of the confidence of the citizens of Ibiza and Formentera with respect to the economy is perceived, because once passed the year the index "he has been less negative than it was predicted", although the growth of the familiar rent was minor than the general tendency and that the one of Ibiza and Formentera. The report indicates that the expectations for this year "are a bit superior" to which the pitiusos had in 2005 and "better than the economic situation perceived" the past exercise, which attributes that to the expectations "much to do with a reactivation of the markets in the next tourist season". Tourist actions of Turespaña for Ibiza and Formentera
