2006 has been one of warmest years of the history of Ibiza and it could be at the top of the list, if in the next few days the temperatures stay constant, reaching the temperatures of 2003, when the global warming was strongly perceived on the island.

When we still have a few days to finish the year, Jansą has analyzed the development experienced in the first eleven months of 2006, finding that the average temperature was 18.1 degrees Celsius in Ibiza, in the same period of 2003, the temperature was 17.5 degrees on average. January and February of this year were slightly colder, whereas the rest of months until November was warmer than usual, with exception of August, were a reduction of the average temperatures took place.
