Ibiza is leading the job creation

The Economic Research report of Sa Nostra confirms that Ibiza and Formentera are leaders in the creation of work places in Balears for the sixth consecutive month. The number of affiliated people to the Social Security was of 39,915 in January of this year, which supposes a 10.6 percent more than in the same month of last year. As far as unemployment, Ibiza anf Formentera and Menorca follow very similar lines since they both incresed increases in a 1.3 percent, with a total of 6,802 unemployed people in the lists. Another result of the report of Sa Nostra includes the consumption of electrical energy in Ibiza and Formentera, that has gone down in February of this year a 1.3 percent with respect to the same month of last year.
