The dream of a 'chiringuito' in Ibiza
Until the 6 of July clients of the bar restaurant ` Es Cap Des Falcó´ are going to be part of an Italian reality-show: ` Bar Wars´. Two groups, one formed by six girls and another one by six boys will compete behind the bar of two chiringuitos on the beach.
Every week the winner is the group that made the most cash register sales.
One of the objectives of the program is to present the landscape and the culture of Ibiza in Italy. Scenes from the Medieval Celebration were shown yesterday.
The feminine team is composed of Anna, Deborah, Elisa, Federica, Francesca and Laura. The girls have won the first test of ability ("with help", the boys protest) and that has given them right to choose the better chiringuito (beach bar).
The boys' team with André, Christian, Giuseppe, Luca and Marco.
The sixth boy, Rudy, had to leave because of the death of a near relative. Their companions regret it: "he was a good companion", affirmed Christian, who prefers that no one else enters the masculine group.
All are handsome and young, of between 19 and 30 years, and were selected in a great casting in which beauty and personality were valued.
Christian, one of the most extroverted boys, didn`t doubt in saying, between laughter, that the strategy to end with the team of the girls is going to be "to kill all".
As in every reality show there will be nominations and the public will eliminate one every week.
Any tourist or resident can go and have a drink in these chiringuitos, forming part of the program and contributing with the payment the drink to the box of each bar. ` Bar Wars´ is emitted every day from 17 to 19 hours in the pay channel Sky Vivo, with almost five million subscribers.
