Ibiza news : 500 rescued tourtles since 1983

The documentary contains beautiful, but also hard images, of tourtles cought up in fishing equipments. The hooks are their main enemy, to the point that a special model has been developed to avoid tourtles swallowing them. From the year 1983 till know 500 of them have been rescued in Ibiza and the rest of the Balearic waters. The cost of the video has been of around 10,000 euros, not a significant amount, explained the chief of a main directorate of Protection of Species, Antoni Gomez, thanks to the "generous contribution of the biologist Manu San Felix".
