Air Nostrum will fly from Palma to Ibiza at 20.40 hours Saturdays and Sundays
The Consell of Ibiza announces the change of schedule after negotiating with the airline company
The president of the Consell, Pere Palau, has negotiated with Air Nostrum a change of schedules, so that the last flight of Palma to Ibiza Saturdays and Sundays will not be at 18.40 but at 20.40 hours. A schedule that will allow the sportsmen who go to competitions to return to the island without having to spend the night in Palma. This is one of the agreements of the Consell Executiu, that also approved a subvention of 69,160 euros for the extension native of ibiza of the National University of remote Education (UNED). The spokesman of the institution, Joan Marí Tur, emphasized the progressive increase of this aid, that was of 63,000 euros in 2003, of 64,000 in 2004 and 66,000 in 2005. In course 2005-2006, the UNED of Ibiza has 822 students, 525 of who they attend some type of regulated education. On the other hand, the department of Culture of the Insular Consell has organized a program for the Caramelles de Pasqua in charge of the square Is Xacoters of sa Torre. This year the joys of the Eastern of the Resurrection in five parishes of the island of Ibiza will be sung: in Puig d´en Valls, Sant Agustí ES Vedrà and in the Mare de Déu de Jesus, the Sunday of Resurrection; Sunday 23 in the church of the Mare de Déu of the Roser, and the 30 of April in the church of Sant Jordi of ses Salines. The Consell Executiu also approved the subventions to the sport clubs that offer gymnastics activities and others in the sport complex of Raspallar of October to June.
