Acciona announces the marine connection Alicante-Ibiza

New line will be covered with fast ships and the passage towards Ibiza will have continuity until Palma. This announcement carried out by representative of Acciona present in the act, which also attended a spokesman of the shipping Baleària that, as well, announced an important increase in the number of passages of the company between Denia and Ibiza and the extension and direct route between Dénia and Formentera. Fear of ` overbooking´ On the other hand, the president of Promotion of Tourism, Jose Tur Elm tree, made emphasis to the agents of trips in the necessity to guarantee a sufficient number of beds for the Spanish market in a season that "predicted to be successful". Promotion of the Tourism is convinced that the increase of Spanish tourism towards Ibiza and Formentera is due , "to the campaigns that with as much fidelity and vehemence was made by this organism in the last fourteen years with the economic collaboration of the Ibatur at first and of the Insular Consell of Ibiza in the last years". The promotional caravan of Eivissa visits Valencia now, where it will make another presentation of the tourist product Ibiza in the Meliá Hotel King Don Jaime, to which they have confirmed his attendance more than 160 trip agents . After a rest by Easter, the expedition of Promotion will start off for Granada, Almeria and Albacete.
