16% of the flora in Ibiza are exotic species

A total of 45 of the 308 species of non-native plants of Ibiza and the rest of Balears are invading plants, according with the thesis of doctor Eva Morales, she just made the first catalogue and tipificación of exotic flora of the archipelago. This study indicates that exotic species, naturalized or sub-spontaneous, form 16% percent of the flora of the island.
