Ibiza:Tourists turned aside to other destinies

Socialist deputy Patricia Abascal alerted yesterday of one of the consequences that the construction of the highway will have in the Canicula: "the touroperators will turn aside clients to other destinies". The great tourist companies will send to the tourists to other zones of the Mediterranean to avoid the complaints derived from the cloggings, the bad image and the unconfortablenes. Abascal predicts that there will be a circulatory collapse each afternoon in ses Salines and each morning in the exit of the discos with the people who circulate around the highway of Sant Antoni in the direction to their jobs in Ibiza: "the image of a generalized chaos will be transmitted to the tourists and they will ask what happend with the island and if that is the calmness destiny that had been sold to them". The "irresponsibility, the audacity and the great power of the Popular Party" will generate a "serious economic problem" this summer. Today the Parlament will ask "what incidences will the construction have during the season".
