45.000 euros for the "Feria Eivissa Medieval"
The IBIZA city administration promotes with 45.000 â?¬ the festival
â?? Eivissa Medievalâ??
The City council of Ibiza will destine 45000 Euros to the celebration ¨Eivissa Medieval¨ that every year commemorates the declaration of the city as Patrimony of the Humanity.
The Consistorio has hired a specialized company that is in charge of the selection, organizacion and assembly of the medieval market in Ibiza-Town.
The interested companies have the opportunity to present their offers until the 8th of march. The â?? Eivissa Medieval¨ begins at the 12th of may until the 14th of may in the part of the old town of Ibiza which is called the ¨Dalt Villa¨and ¨La Marina¨.
This year there will be around 60 stands and 10 handicrafts workshops and 10 groups of artists that perform in the streets of DALT VILLA and LA MARINA.
In addition there will be the streets and public places decorated in the typical style of the Middleage including the people will be dressed like that.
There will be hired musician groups, theater and infantile animation, Eastern story telers, jugglers, musicians and street artists, in addition to static games, exhibition of animals, among other activities.
The hoteliers of Ibiza are awaiting for this year a lot of tourists staying in their hotels coming to visit the ¨Eivissa Medieval¨ Festival.
