The official death of the ECO Tax

OK.. it is over....
Sr. Jaume Matas (foto) announced that the onerous ECO Tax (1.03 Euros / tourist / day) will be officially defeated in the voting of his majority party (Popular Party), this coming Friday in the Parliament of the Balearic Government in Palma de Mallorca.
He thus complies with a campaign promise which was largely responsible for the landslide victory in the last recent elections.
