" I too had read the comments about the luxmar apartments and when first arriving thought likes!!! I think the other reviews are a little unfair. The apartments themselves were great. very spacious and being on the end we had a HUGE balcony! the kitchens were well equipped too. the location of the apartments was OK. Just out of the busy streets but ideal walking distance. Never found the chinese which was mentioned in other reviews. Did sample one and the food was foul!! Certainly recommend the pizza restaurant close to the old town. Toscana! Food was superb. In all we enjoyed the e holiday and Benidorm wasn't as bad as we thought! I think we picked the right time of the year to go! ... "

" Disgusting hotel full of plebs and homos. If you really want to treat yourself take the private suite in the dungeon but make sure you check any rope you have in your bag in the safes because you will probably use it around your neck. ... "

" My husband & I spent a week at Lux Mar during June of 2007. We loved it and are going back for 15 days in June 2009. The views from our balcony were stunning, the service excellent, the location great and the food really commendable. This is not 5 star - but are as good (if not better) than you can get at their rates. Hope your experience are as good as ours were.... "
