Todays photo of Ibiza shows us a tipical Ibicenco house ( Finca ), these houses are alot better constructed than they look, the thick walls will keep you warm in winter and keep the house cool in summer, the small windows have the same function. The only bad thing for north European is that the roof is some time very low (they were thought for small Ibicenco people). Even so north european love this style and will buy any kind of a Finca for 1 million Euros Easy. This makes many spanierds sell by they know that it will be almost imposible for them to ever buy a finca back. This has brought the locals of Mallorca to hate Germans, the island of Ibiza has still not been that invaded so the locals are far more open to foreigners.
