On todays Ibiza photo you can see arches what you find in the front part of preaty much every church on the island. Here you can also see how thick these walls were and this makes you understand why the people hided in the church when there was an invasion. Some churches even had underground tunels that were even used in the spanish civil war.

These sort of arches can be found in every small town and you can search for accomodation there by clicking on the town name, SANTA EULALIA, SAN JOSE or SAN MIGUEL
