Photo of church window in Ibiza

Powered by www.pelo.info
A tipical Ibiza church window is the Photo of the day today, The island and the rest of spain is clearly a catholic country. The best time to see this is in Eastern, what here is called "Semana Santa" what basicly means is "the sacred week". Were the resuration of Jesus is celebrated.
There is a prosetion in Town were they dress up in a costume that reminds of the ones the Ku Kus clan were and they carry huge statues of Jesus and the Virgin, march to a music that is similar to military march music but a bit more tragic. They also through candy for the children.

If you want to come for "Semana Santa " I recomend you make your reservation well in advance with Ibiza Hotel.

If you have any photos you would like published on this page please send us a e-mail with the photo in a small size (not more than 200kb) to romanrounkle@inter-sat.com
