the el pinar apartments are fantastic, the sea views so relaxing and the staff are excellent, the food and bar service also brilliant. the maids came in and changed the towels and bedding on a regular basis. the beach is down a few steps which is handy for people with children, the sea is clear and safe
although there is the odd jellyfish now and again.
cala llonga is a beautiful bay, very relaxing.
tried a few restaurants and found flippers very good
also sos restaurante. mister cairos is the place for entertainment, had a great time in there.
all in all the el pinar apartments were excellent, and the resort beautifu;, would go back tomorrow if i could afford it....

El Pinar is a fantastic place to go on holiday,we are going back again this August 2008 for our 6th time,we have two boys 17 and 13 years old and they love it here because it is so safe and quiet they can have abit of indenpendance and go of and explore.The staff are fantastic,Pepe the bar manager is lovely he always remembers us when we go back ready with a drink and a smile and will always keep the bar open till whatever time you want to leave.The food is basic but nice and the location....well what can you say FANTASTIC you couldn't ask for better. ...

I and my wife stayed at this hotel for about a week and loved the hotel because of its friendly quick service and cleanliness. It was accidently landed in this hotel bcoz we found the earlier hotel messy and untidy. We booked a room with a terrace to enjoy the sea view. The floor was maintained spotlessly. We had no problem with the breakfast they served. And we have meals basically outside as we planned to explore the island. Howevr I wud like to mention that this hotel offer a nice menu at reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the the bar ...

I could not complain abut anything of this hotel. This is a lovely place to enjoy a holiday with family. We booked two rooms and both were nice and clean. Our room had a terrace window bed phone and cupboard. We spent here 4 days3 nights and enjoyed our holiday to the best. Food was also good. The restaurant exhibited varieties of cuisines that would bring water in ones mouth. The dishes we tried was made from sea fish which i never tasted it before. The quality of the food was not that bad. The hotel was a perfect location for holiday. The calm ambience is sure to make you feel relaxed. ...

Just back from staying at this hotel for a week- my first trip to Spain.I went alone and was made to feel very welcome and comfortable.It's a lovely hotel,beautiful apartments,ideally situated,immaculately kept.Very quiet and a peaceful area.The pool is secluded and well maintained with ample sun loungers.The food and service i cannot fault,nothing is too much trouble.Only a stones throw from the lovely clean safe beach.Good entertainment here also.I would definately return here and only wish i had stayed longer !

The apartments are lovely, but I think it should be made apparent to customers that the small studios that are across the road do not have a a balcony that you can sit out on. That was the only disappointment that I had while on holiday there. We paid to move to a larger studio with a proper balcony. Other than that the staff are great and it was very clean and comfortable....
