Beyond the West End, San Antonio has a number of upmarket bars where the more clued-up clubber will stop by. At the water's edge, theres the likes of Bar M and the Orange Corner and Plastik is worth a look just off the West End.

Only a short stroll from the hedonism of the West End and you will come across the sunset strip. This is where you will find Cafe Del Mar and Cafe Mambo; amongst others - all with stunning views of the sun going down over the Mediterranean. The backdrop of smooth, melodic beats makes it the ideal place to grab a few beers and a bite to eat, with prices varying widely from bar to bar. Many places offer special offers for diners wanting to enjoy the sunset.
